Arizona Tint Laws – Medical Exemption

The state of Arizona permits medical exemptions. For more details about the specific terms of the exemption, consult AZ state law below.

ARIZONA STATE LEGISLATURE MEDICAL EXEMPTION – 28-959.01.G

  • Reflective tint allowed in Arizona? Accordingly to Arizona law, 35% reflective is allowed, which means that the reflective material cannot reflect more than 35% of the light.
  • Colored tint permitted in Arizona? All tinted colors are allowed (excluding red and amber) Accordingly to Arizona law.
  • Window Tint Certification: Film manufacturers do not need to certify the film they sell in State, Accordingly to Arizona tint law.
  • Window tint sticker: No sticker of compliance required accordingly to Arizona law.
  • Can you tint your front windshield in Arizona? Non-reflective tint allowed above the manufacturer’s AS-1 line according to Arizona tint law.
